Sequence Theory – Privacy Policy

Welcome to Sequence Theory ("ST", "we", "us", or "our"). This site argues that you should be able to see what software does with your data. So this policy is written the same way: it describes what actually happens when you visit these pages and when you work with us, in terms you can verify yourself. Open your browser's developer tools and check the network tab against Section 2. The two should match.

1. Who We Are

2. What This Website Collects

These pages are static files. There are no accounts, no forms, no analytics scripts and no advertising or tracking pixels on this site. The fonts, images and code load from this domain. The site does not set cookies, and it sends nothing you type or click to us, because there is nothing here that could.

• Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, serves the pages and keeps standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type) to run and protect the service. We do not add analytics on top of that.
• The landing page stores one value in your browser's local storage, named st_gate_passed_v1, so the opening interaction does not repeat on every visit. It stays on your device, identifies nothing about you, and clearing your browser data removes it.
• The landing page contains one video, embedded through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player. The preview image loads from YouTube's image server when the page opens. The player itself loads only if you press play, and from that moment Google's own privacy terms apply to the playback.

3. When You Contact Us

If you email us, or reach us on LinkedIn, WhatsApp or by phone, we receive what you send: your name, your contact details and the content of the message. We use it to reply, to prepare and deliver work you ask for, and to keep the thread of an ongoing collaboration. Our email runs on Spacemail; messages you send us live in that mailbox. Conversations on other platforms stay on the platform you chose.

4. Client and Project Data

When we work together, we process what the project requires: briefs, feedback, project content and the practical details needed to invoice and deliver. Access is limited to the people doing the work, and collaborators outside the company work under confidentiality agreements. We use your data for the project and for staying in touch about it, not for resale or advertising.

5. Donezo

Donezo products are documented on this site, but accounts, licences and payments happen on donezo.space, which carries its own terms and privacy policy. Nothing you do inside a Donezo app is visible to this website.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

The GDPR gives you the right to:

• Access or correct your data
• Request deletion
• Withdraw consent at any time
• Export your data
• Object to specific types of processing
• File a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens)

The fastest route is to email us directly. We respond within 14 days.

7. Data Retention

We keep client and correspondence data for up to 2 years after a project ends, for reporting, continuity or future collaboration. You can request deletion at any time; we honour it unless a legal, security or tax obligation requires us to keep specific records longer.

8. Changes to This Policy

If the site starts doing something this policy does not describe, the policy changes first and the date above changes with it. Significant changes get called out, not buried.

Final Note

Most privacy policies describe an apparatus. This one is short because there is not much apparatus to describe, and that is the point.
